Support of Basic Health Services in the Operational District of Kirivong

 

Project title: Support of basic health services in the operational district of Kirivong, Takeo province, Cambodia .

Problem setting: In the framework of the Basic Health Services Project (BHSP) set up by the Cambodian Ministry of Health, E&D is in charge of delivering quality health service to a population of 210.000 inhabitants in the district of Kirivong. (District infrastructure: 1 hospital and 20 health centres)

General Objective: To improve the general state of health of the population of the sanitary district of Kirivong through the development of communal health care centres (For rural populations these health care centres are the nearest access to treatment.) and by providing staff with the technical and material means to cater for and efficiently heal patients.
