This week, the team in charge of the Sexual and Reproductive Health project in Cambodia has began to train student interviewers for our study on the sexual and reproductive health of female textile workers in the Kampong Speu province of Cambodia.
This activity constitutes an extension of the project of Sexual and Reproductive health, already in place in Cambodia. Based on observation of their working conditions especially their work schedules, the women working in the textile industries do not seem to have time to visit health and information services. Therefore, E&D decided to try to help them in their place of work.
To help with the process, a study prepared by consultants will be distributed in the factories from the month of August. The results will allow us to develop health projects to benefit factory workers.
